AquaCraft Mini Alligator Tour Boat Review

AquaCrafts Alligator Tours Mini Tour Air Boat RTR

The Ready to Run R/C air boat from AquaCrafts is a nice model to have in your collection or as your first R/C boat and it will provide many hours of enjoyment. The model comes with 1 1100 mAH Ni-MH (Nickel Metal Hydrate battery) If the battery is pretty low it will take about 45 minute to an hour to recharge. I purchased a couple of extra

Batteries for the model to extend my fun time. With the 1100 and 2 extra 1600 mAH batteries it gave me about 40 minutes play time. I would give this R/C Air Boat 4 out of 5 stars.

Pros

  • Ready to run out of the Box just charge the battery (45 min to an hour).
  • It comes with an 1100 mAH battery and a 12v peak charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter.
  • You can run it on snow and Ice as well as water.
  • It will run in shallow water.

Cons

  • It will flip it a high wind and it is a lilt hard to steer in high wind also.
  • New England snow and ice. No Problem. Oklahoma Snow. I will not move in slush.
  • I would prefer that the peak charger plug into the wall and not the cigarette lighter.
  • The motor is hardwired into the receiver. You can purchase a replacement receiver for about 15 bucks but you will need to add connectors to the wires.

I would take caution if you’re buying multiple boats for your kids. Always make sure they are on different channels. If you buying from a hobby shop, check the end of the box for the frequency code. AquaCraft has them from A1 to A4 so please make sure they are different. If you buying online then I would talk to a person to make sure you get different channels.
